Jackanory
| ACTING as PJ's servant,
Alex has been enthusiastically reading short
stories to a hooked audience in the garden. As
part of the masters and servants mini-task,
several works of literature were supplied to the
group for the purposes of making each master's
life as comfortable as possible. Getting into the
role as chief storyteller, the sardonic model
entertained the others with a personal reading.
"No, no!" recited Alex with energy.
"She is delicate!" Kate and Jade both
closed their eyes to fully appreciate the
novelette - or to sleep depending on your
viewpoint - while Jonny busied himself with the
chickens. |

| However the Essex boy
found keen listeners in Tim and PJ. As the tale
continued, Alex even started to regale the pair
with a variety of voices. "Well I hear that
Iris is not to be married," Alex continued
in a deep voice. "She should be out there
getting laid left, right and centre!" And so
the saga continued, until finally the housemates
all lived happily ever after. Well, for a while,
at least. |
